將c1型HBV病毒1.0拷貝全長DNA轉入小鼠，該轉基因小鼠血清中HBsAg呈陽性，但無HBeAg、anti-HBs、anti-HBe或antiHBc表達，無HBV DNA復制。在該轉基因小鼠模型的血清、肝臟和腎臟中可以檢測到穩定表達的人乙肝病毒表面抗原，該小鼠模型為研究人類“乙型肝炎”的發病機制、治療方法與藥物篩選，提供了理想的動物模型和新型研究手段，具有重要的醫藥應用價值。
